Scholarships Available for 2016
This year the Fluvanna Education Foundation is offering five scholarships. You must apply for each scholarship by using the Local Scholarship Application form which is available through the Fluvanna County High School Guidance Office or using the link on the left.
ALL DEADLINES ARE APRIL 15, 2016 (excluding GED Scholarship)
Fluvanna Education Foundation GED Scholarship $250 each - Two Scholarships Available This applicant must have earned his/her GED through an adult education class offered by the Fluvanna County School System and have plans to continue his/her formal education. Fluvanna Education Foundation Community Service Scholarship $500 - One Scholarship Available This scholarship is available to a Fluvanna County High School senior with continued involvement in community service and with plans to continue his/her education at a two or four year institution. Fluvanna Education Continuing Education Scholarship $500 - One Scholarship Available This scholarship is available to a Fluvanna County High School senior with at least a 3.0 GPA with plans to continue his/her education at a two or four year institution. The recipient will be eligible to receive an additional $500 towards his/her second year tuition by maintaining a 3.0 GPA in his/her first year. Joseph Duvalois Memorial Scholarship $500 - Two Scholarships Available This scholarship will be available to a Fluvanna County High School senior who has plans to continue his/her education at a two or four year institution, preferably in the Culinary Arts. This scholarship is being offered by the friends of the Duvalois family as a memorial to Joseph Duvalois, a member of the Fluvanna County Schools.
